FAUX
WINDOWS

 & DOORS

Look out on a garden in full bloom, a coastal scene or a fantasy view.  The space opens up expanding the horizon.
A blank wall at the end of a corridor, stair wells and small bathrooms are just a few sites that can benefit from this treatment.

1. Cottage window including clients cat. 70x100cm
2. Fishing harbour scene with lobster pot, crab and shells 80x120cm
3. Open door and garden, incorporating the clients three dogs.  Painted onto existing door of the utility room.
4. Garden view for a room which has only sky lights. Real wooden door frames and handles were fixed over the painting to match the joinery in the rest of the house.
5. Garden view with wisteria, for the sitting room of a retirement apartment. 125x125cm
6. Bathroom window with wooden blind, coastal view and toiletries on sill. 70x140cm
7. Door slightly ajar, lamps, bell pull and stonework painted onto blank white wall in the front porch of an Edwardian house. In reality the main entrance is at the side of the building.

If not painted in Situ, images can be painted on board and fixed in place. This enables the panels to be moved to a new situation or a new house if required.
