Step by step guide to commissioning a piece of work
1. The proposed subject and dimensions of the piece are
discussed. Any reference material is collected, a
site visit is arranged if possible.
2. A full colour sketch (in watercolour) is produced so
that any modifications can be incorporated.
3. If required a full size plan can be drawn up in black
and white, on paper.
4. The final design is agreed and a time schedule
proposed.
5. Painting can begin, either in situ, on a canvas or
board which can be easily hung by the client.
